Live, laugh, love Spend your Valentine’s Day weekend lost in a universal love story that speaks to the forgotten art of the written word. Celebrated Marin actors James Dunn and Anne Ripley star as Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner, two lifelong friends who share a love that grows stronger with age, in A.R. Gurney’s “Love Letters.” This production, directed by Robert Wilson, is a special fundraiser for the College of Marin drama department at COM Studio Theatre at Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Laurel Avenue in Kentfield. That is why, in his 20th season, Marin Symphony concertmaster Jeremy Constant celebrates by taking his audience on a musical journey as violin soloist in Marin Symphony’s “Masterworks 3 concert: Eight Seasons,” on Feb. 15 and 17 at Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium at 10 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael. Performing Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” in conjunction with tango master Astor Piazzolla’s “The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires,” Constant delivers a complex program balancing out the differences and similarities between the two works.
